Independent procurement

The Karmod Sourcing procurement desk

Our independent procurement desk coordinates sourcing in China. The original brand neither operates nor authorizes this service.

What we coordinate

We organize the buyer brief, supplier shortlist and scope comparison so commercial decisions can be made on comparable terms. We can arrange sample review or help prepare a third-party inspection brief when requested.

The selected supplier is responsible for manufacturing and the accuracy of its product evidence. The buyer and local professionals decide whether the proposed assembly and site arrangements meet project requirements.

Who owns each decision

An ISO 9001 certificate concerns a quality management system. For a load-bearing module, ask for calculations and drawings that correspond to the actual unit and design basis.

When a bidder offers a substitution, record the original and replacement part, weight difference and the drawing revisions affected. The buyer can then decide whether to reopen the comparison.

What we record at each handoff

Mark the lift

Ask for bundle mass and marked lift locations before assigning unloading equipment. Check whether the supplier details cover loose panels as well as assembled frames.

Write the interface

Clarify where wiring and plumbing supplied with the kit stop. A board or coupler location belongs on the drawing as well as the quote.

Protect the core

Request a dated sample record for the sandwich panel core, finish and thickness. Follow with an agreed receiving check for wet packaging or damaged edges.

Repair the coat

Identify the base steel, galvanized coating and compatible field treatment for cut edges. Keep mill records and site repair instructions together.

Stop at the code line

Record which drawings the local engineer needs and when they are due. Do not treat a product brochure as proof of approval.

Keep the change visible

Log fit-out changes with their freight and installation consequences. The revised list should identify the person who accepted the change.

Documents and details we ask to see

These illustrations show the types of checks a buyer can request. Supplier-specific records are reviewed under the project brief.

Jig for a container corner post

Panel racks with edge guards
Panel racks where core type and thickness are stenciled before wrapping.
Document table with packing sheets
Packing table where the 40HQ position is checked against axle limits.
Anchor template on a slab
Foundation interface checked against the template, not against a photograph.
Torque check on a stack joint
Stack joint where bolt tension is recorded when installation support is in scope.
Light-gauge stud bundle
CFS bundles tagged with section and coating before they are nested in a container.

Discuss your purchasing scope

Tell us which part of your purchase needs coordination. An existing quotation can be reviewed for exclusions before additional suppliers are asked to price it.
