This policy explains how Karmod handles personal information collected on karmodsourcing.com. It covers the inquiry form, the comment form on articles, and ordinary server logs. It does not describe employee files or a signed project data-room unless that room has its own notice.
The project brief asks for first name, last name, work email, phone, company, destination country and a message about use, quantity and timing. You may choose how much project detail to include. Please omit government identity numbers and information about people who are not part of the buying team.
Article comments collect the name, email and optional website you type, plus the comment text and the article identifier. Server logs may store IP address, browser type and the page requested, which are used to keep the site available and to investigate abuse.
Briefs are used to answer a quotation request, to ask for missing load or port data, and to keep a record of what was offered. That record may include the module family you named and the country you named. Comments are used to display the comment if it is accepted, and to detect spam. Logs are used for security and for fixing broken pages.
Karmod does not sell these contact lists. Staff who need the brief in estimating, packing or installation coordination can see it. A freight forwarder or a site supervisor receives only the fields required for their task, and only after the inquiry becomes an active shipment or installation discussion.
Inquiry records may be kept as needed to answer follow-up questions or meet applicable obligations. Records that become a quotation or a contract are kept for the period required by that contract and by accounting rules. Comments may remain on the article until removed. You can ask for a comment to be taken down by writing to the address below.
Hosting and email providers process data on Karmod instructions. If a project is delivered outside China, the brief may be read by the coordinator assigned to that country. Where a transfer needs a safeguard, Karmod will use the contractual clause its counsel specifies rather than moving the file informally.
Karmod may disclose information if a law, a court or a competent authority requires it, or if disclosure is needed to prevent harm related to a site activity. Marketing mail is sent only when you have asked for updates. A quotation reply is not treated as a newsletter.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask for a copy of the contact record, a correction, or deletion of an inquiry that has not become a statutory record. You may object to use that is based on legitimate interest in answering the brief. You may complain to a supervisory authority in your country. Use the contact page to submit a privacy request.
The form includes a confirmation that you have read this policy. That checkbox records consent for the use described here. If you submit a brief for your employer, you confirm you are allowed to share that work contact. Children are not the audience of this site, and briefs that appear to concern a child are deleted.
Cookies on the public site are limited to what the pages need to remember a form error or to measure whether a page loaded. The inquiry form itself is the main collection point, not a cookie banner with a hidden profile. If that changes, this page will be updated before the new tool is switched on.
Use the desk if your question is about a brief you already sent. Name the approximate date so the record can be found.
